This V-shaped applicator allows for self-administration of hapé. One end is placed in the nostril, and the other end is placed in the mouth. The user blows through the mouth end, sending the hapé into their own nostril.

Hapé is a sacred shamanic snuff medicine traditionally used by several Amazonian tribes, including the Katukina, Yawanawa, Kaxinawa, Nukini, Kuntanawa, Apurinã, Ashaninka, and Matses. The recipes for these blends are often closely guarded secrets within the tribes. Sharing hapé is a ritualistic practice that involves specific chants to activate its healing power, conferring the forest's energy to the recipient. This practice has been introduced to the West through ayahuasca ceremonies by traveling shamans and visitors who have spent time with indigenous communities.
